Here in the studio, curtains are made using traditional hand sewn methods to make for curtains that are made to last. Window treatments add the finishing touch to a home and can provide extra warmth, elegance, make a statement, or all three! I recommend interlining your curtains as this adds extra warmth and a more luxurious finish to your window treatments. I offer a variety of heading styles, hand pleated headings show off fabric beautifully, but lovely tape headed curtains offer a more relaxed finish in cottage or pencil pleat style. Visit the choose fabrics page to view a selection of what’s available. If you need help to narrow down your choices and for samples, please get in touch. I can measure up for you dependent on your location, or please visit the measuring guide page for advice on how to take measurements yourself.
In addition to curtains and blinds, I also provide coordinating cushions, hold backs, tie backs, curtain poles, tracks and pelmets. Your finished curtains and roman blinds will be delivered ready to hang. Dependent on your location, I can also hang these for you. I am here to help every step of the way. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
Here’s a rough guide of what you can expect to pay for the different types of curtain.
Curtains are priced according to how many widths/ drops you need. To work out how many drops you will need measure the length of your pole or track and multiple by 2 for a taped heading and 2.5 for a hand pleated heading. Divide the answer by 137, which is the standard width of most fabrics.
For Example: For a pair of lined and interlined curtains with a hand pleated heading.
Pole 140 x 2.5 = 350
350 / 137 = 2.55
Round up to 3
3 drops x £130 = £390
